What cheap giveaway for corporate golf day ?

I've been stuck with organising a golf day at work and have to decide on a giveaway for the customers, it's gonna be cheap though !

Choices are decent quality towel, 3 good balls, good pitch repairer, cheap umbrella, shoe bag etc

Appreciate opinions on what you think will be the best received.

Agree with Mono - pencilpal looks really good and different. If budget limited, then avoid umbrellas - get something small, good quality and memorable. Good pitch mark repairer or decent set of balls.

If its corporate have you thought about ties. You can get them done cheaply with something like XX golf day 2009 at the bottom.

Generally when I've been on a corporate day in the past I have received 3 balls with a company logo printed on them.

What about stainless steel engraved hip flasks, Our work bought 20 from here, the flasks themselves are around 6-8 quid depending on what size you want and then about a quid to engrave them. They come in a presentation box and look great, a lot more expensive looking than they actually were.

If any of the golfers are of a decent standard they will hate the golf balls idea and the pencipal thing looks a bit naff to me, IMO something useful like pitchmark tool or towels are always needed.

On the assumption that you want your company logo as widely displayed for as long a period as possible, go for the towel. Balls get lost, pitch mark repairers are out of sight but a golf towel hangs on a bag for years with your logo on prime display
