What brands would you not play?

Titleist & Mizuno

I know I'm going to regret asking this. ;)

But why?

Don't ask. Who cares about the workings of the insane mind?

what's up the truth hurts

So what is the truth then, smart guy?

Paid a lot less than you for my clubs :p
And I know how to use them
You may have all the gear but your still an idiot :p

Delusional and ignorant. A rare and unattractive combination. Not to mention the continuing illiteracy. Did you have to spell check 'Titleist'?

And also away from it. Nice spelling this time. Good idea to avoid the tricky 'your/you're' dilemma.

Looking back through some of your old posts not a very popular guy are you

I wouldn't want to be popular with people like you, pal.

I will offer sensible advice to other posters. Unlike your flatulent emissions.

To be honest I'm not overly fussed who was perceived to have upset whom first, but you are both adults (allegedly). Let it go guys as its detracting from what is actually a pretty interesting thread and is showing some interesting traits.

I wouldn't really look at Ping irons, mainly as I don't like the look of them or the big cavity. Although I did try the ones which are more blade like, when I bought my Titleists.
They remind me too much (in appearance) of the Howson Derby's which were my first set of adult sized clubs.

But for woods I'd be open enough to try anything once.

Homer

You don't have to read the posts.

The other party called me a name, now deleted, and has since failed to bring his formidable intellect (sarcasm alert) to bear to justify that or his original proposition, presumably aimed at me, so I will battle wits with him, whether or not he has any, until a conclusion or he says something sensible, whichever is first.

Outside the forum, I could tell him more plainly what I think of his views.

If i am in the market for something new i will look at every brand and try them out. If it works for me then it will go in the bag, simples!

Cobra, always seem to have massive offset
Nike, I just can't - I find it hard to view them as being very much different from Slazenger (possibly the JJB connection?)
Callaway irons & Ping drivers - one bad experience is enough (ok it was probably me but . . . .)

it shouldn't be looks but how often does it come down to that?

Lynx, king cobra, slazenger, Dunlop.
Saying that, my 5w is a Nickent hypersteel which is a bit of a no name cally copy and is virtually 10 years old, bit scratched yet was the only club I didn't shed when I gave the game up for 6 years.

At last some one has mentioned Dunlop....I mean, why would you??!!

And another overrated brand are that company with the Jap name...Mizuno,they reckon they are the dog's nuts but I aint seen them produce a decent metal or cavity back yet....even their blades are tat.

I've got to be honest. And please don't shoot me down in flames or have a go at me here.
But I always find that whenever I play with somebody who is using Titleist clubs I always leave the course with the impression that they are gay, or at least would be, given the chance.
Don't know why. Maybe it's their walk. Maybe it's the way they bend down to pick their ball out of the cup. Maybe it's the way most of them want to kiss you on the cheek when the game is over rather than shake hands.
Leaves me feeling a bit cold and for that reason I would never play Titleist clubs.
