What Ball?

+1 for Pro v1 lake balls. The pearl grade ones are excellent quality at pretty much half the price. Its a no-brainer for me.

I once tried a dozen, they were awful! Felt very inconsistent off the face, reckon some of them must have spent a long time at the bottom of a lake somewhere absorbing water

Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Were the ones you had 'pearl' grade? I havent tried anything other than to be honest and never been disappointed, but if I got some that I wasn't happy with I would send them back.

Who did you get them from? I have always had them from premierlakeballs.com .

bought some NXT Tour S for a try, and i have to say, very impressed!! even managed to post a score England cricket would be proud of without losing one!

I bought them in a golf superstore in Myrtle Beach, all the courses out there have water everywhere so thought they would be ideal for holiday golf. Not sure if they were pearl, refurbs or any other grade TBH but they put me off for life.

If you always play pro v1s, might be worth a retry.

Another recommendation for Premier Lake balls here. Used them recently for the first time and got 20 Pearl TM Tour Preferred X for £25. Even better was that I didnt have to pay any postage as they are based about 1 mile away from me :D.

Was very happy with the quality of the balls, definitely better than paying full price new from the shops. Will deffo be using them again

i found a TM lethal the other day so used it on Sat in our roll up. Not liked a TM ball since the TP Black/ Red. It was remarkably good very like a pro V managed 5 birdies and a 67 gross ( winter course)

Must have been the ball as played yesterday though only 17 holes and that felt more like 87 with a Pro V
