What are your big plans for 2015?

Two grand children due, one the end of April & one the end of June. Daughter #2 marries in August. I've just become Service Manager for Ireland, as well as retaining Service Manager for northern England - will be putting together a decent 2nd set of clubs for the Dublin office... loads of golf booked... a few decent holidays, e.g. going to see elephants in Sri Lanka... quiet year really.

Just got back from Cornwall, sadly without the golf clubs as the weather was great, but had an injury.

Going to do a 4 or 6 day (depending on work) trip to the smoke, tieing in the Beach boys at the royal albert hall. Will be doing the tourist things as well, as never done it before. So planning on a show in the west end, buck palace, war museum and as much as I can fit in as possible.

Northern France for 2 weeks ideally, without doing too much research yet, hoping to get to a few of the battlefields, cemetaries, Bayeaux tapestry, and more. It is the 200th anniversary of Waterloo, and 600 th anniversary of Agincourt so will try to see whats going on for that.

There is one weekend where they are going to have 1,000 archers doing a "rainfall of arrows" - something I'd like to see in the re-enactment.

A sneaky little knock on Le golf nationale (future ryder cup venue) may be rude to ignore.......

Finish the house off hopefully.

Just paid for flights and for two weeks in apartment in Vancouver in June, never been to Canada and really looking forward to it. Other than that get out playing golf more than I have in last few months and carry on photographing professional football - hopefully buy a new camera at end of tax year depending on how next few months go, don't need any golf gear this year.

Not much really.

Skiing Three Valleys next week, Fortnight in France June and possible trip to Iceland September.

Golf wise County Seniors and Seniors Opens/Mixed Opens.

I'm getting married at the end of July and then going on a 2 week honeymoon to San Francisco, LA, Las Vegas & New York! Pretty much blowing my golfing budget for the first 6 months of this year....

Anyone else got any big plans or things coming up this year?

Congratulations. Mine is to do more chores around the house so that the wife can let me play more golf... oh and win the lottery so that I can get someone else to do my chores so that the wife can let me play more golf

Consider Memphis for your show, highly recommended.

About the King? (Elvis, not Kenny);)

I think it will be the missus pick, but might consider if we go more than once. War Horse, Les mis are the possibles at the mo, as we've seen Phantom on Broadway, already.

Its also cup final weekend, so keeping the Saturday night free for a bit..........

No, about the spread of black music amongst white listeners in the racially tense Southern USA and all the attendant issues. It's an original score, rather than based on someone's back catalogue, largely written by David Bryan of Bon Jovi.

Sounds interesting. What type of music - 50's rock and roll style, or later?

Difficult to categorise mate; I'd say there's a bit of 50's rock 'n' roll, soul, gospel, R 'n' B, Motown and a bit more contemporary stuff thrown in and mixed up, the reviewers seem to settle on a mixture of blues, rock & gospel. It deals with the harder issues but does it with humour, yet doesn't belittle the issues with the humour.

All that sounds good to me - its the missus call though.

Looking forward to the beach boys on the Sunday though, you got a Hawaiian shirt free?

Married in April in Cuba, plan on spending a day or two in Havana whilst there. Then off to Thailand, where we take in Bangkok and Phuket. Then onto Kuala Lumpur for a bit. On way back going to stop over in Dubai for a few nights also. Then later in year we have promised ourselves some winter sun, probably Madeira or fuertaventura.
On a personal note, I'm going to aim to get a new job, and hopefully play a bit more golf this year.

Just been to Thailand, go to Chaing Mai if you can fit it it. We done phuket and Bangkok too. Really didn't see what the big fuss was about in Bangkok though. We both wish we had done some of the little islands instead.

Continue the weight loss.
Just over 2 1/2 stone gone since September - slow and steady.
Targeting another 2 to go by this September.

Other than that its the same old grindstone....

Yeh we really fancy a couple of island tour type things when down in phuket. I've heard thats the best place to set off from for a few. Bangkok is for three days, very little chance we'll get back there in next 20 years :( so guess need to see it.

lots intended not sure how many I will achieve

eldest is 21 in october so hopefully take him to a Liverpool match or something.

Aiming for a big year with work as theres a few openings coming up I have in my sights

Lose a bit of weight as since being an office waller I have put on 2 stone and all on my gut

Decorate the house

Play some golf when the spring arrives and see if I can get the bug back as I am missing the exercise and banter plus life has become to boring without an escape

Those pointed looking things by the ground are your feet mate. You may not remember what they look like. Keep it going though. Good effort so far
