I was reading one of the posts on making a green in your garden, the amount of work put me off but would building a bunker in your garden be much work or could a flat flimsy one on sheets of plastic be ok? :D

Not in my garden. Not big enough to even contemplate. I'm more than happy with the practice facilities at my club so why go to the time, effort and expense to recreate a putting green or bunker when they are readily available

I could do, but when I practice my lob shots I keep shanking shots into next door's garden. Knowing the potential for this puts more stress in your game, and makes it more likely. I can only imagine the issues if I compound it by hitting from a bunker.

My green house also has no glass left in it after the number of shots I have knifed into it.

Practice is better left to at the club.

Oh for the luxury of a garden! I practice putting in my spare room on the carpet, trying to hit a pound coin. I practice chipping by hitting from one room from on the carpet, over the wooden floor in the hall (4 foot or so), and try and land it on the carpet in the next room :D
