I played Wednesday and shot a bad score and then today I did my second handicap round and shot my usual round of 83 (15 over). I was nailing my tee shots and long irons but my short game let me down a bit but on Wednesday I had a bad long iron game and a good short gameTHis game is weird...lol

I'm trying to work out where you play.
It can't be Brent Valley.
It can't be West Mid
Not Ealing, or Sudbury.....

Par 68?.....hmm.....go on, put me out of my misery.

If you ever get it all going on one day you can stop playing as you will have defeated golf.
I think everyone comes off the course thinking 'what if', it's just part of the game.
If it was easy we wouldn't be challenged so wouldn't play.

Perhaps you just tried too hard on Wednesday. I said at the time the game is there. Stop trying and it will come. The great thing with Wexham is you don't need to be long but need a good short game which you have. Focus on keeping it in play more and you'll shoot some great scores around it

I got it all going Thursday, just practising on my own. Played the best golf I have EVER played.

Comp this morning, 18 shots higher, 0.1 back :o

Never think you've got this game sussed.

What happened, you were hitting it so well?
It will take a while to build your confidence with the new move. Patience :)

A few poor (line) drives with unlucky outcomes and putts weren't dropping. Went over the back of 2 greens into cabbage due to hitting it too well!

Still happy with how I'm hitting the ball, just one of those days :)
