And the day was going so well...

Gross 78 for 39 points, a bit damp but hey this is England, a spot of lunch, home for a change before work. Load up the washing machine, set it off, get ready to go and..........

Now where's my phone??? :D :D :D

Well its as clean as the day it came out of the box. All the electrics are buggered but the SIM works - thank God! Transferred it to an old one so I'm not totally lost just totally stupid!!

Dont bin it just yet. Mine has been through a wash, a day in the airing cupdoard to dry out and it was fine.

Give it a go, I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Have you tried stripping it down as much as poss, and puting it on the boiler to dry out for a few days (ok, it hasn't been days yet). It may yet revive itself. The gadget show did something similar, and all the phones they tried revived ok.

One of our twins phones has been through the washing machine twice now, where he forgot to remove it from his jeans pocket. Stuck it in the airing cupboard both times and it's still working fine.
A lot to be said for cheap Nokias!!
;)

i seem to remember when mid size mobile came on the scene, i had one in my top shirt pocket. i was decorating a house, and had a bucket of water in the room. bent over to pick it up and splooosh! phone straight in the bucket! another time i was on the throne, got a txt, had phone in hand, stood up to wipe the necessary, and guess where the phone ended up?
Hope this cheers you up m8, ive had some experience of this plonker(no pun intended,:)) stuff!
