What a day yesterday turned out to be 
Got up at 4.15am to watch Wales beat the Samoans in one hell of a tough game then went down the club and hooked out with the seniors who have a Sunday morning 7am pick up and guess what....... got my first hole in one!
Played with 3 others and watched as I hit a lovely 9 iron that bounced once on the front of the 14th green then rolled right in to the hole (yellow tee - 158 yards). I bought a new set of G20 Irons a couple of weeks ago and I've been very happy with them but this really is the iceing on the cake.
Some funny looks back in the clubhouse as I offered everyone a whisky top up in their teas and coffes at 11 o'clock before leaving the bottle on the bar with a note offering everyone else to join me in a drink once the bar opens.
