Me and Mrs Basher started out in an end terraced house. Had 6 happy years there but decided to move to something a bit bigger and better due to the growing family.
We moved to a 3 bed semi in a nice area and have lived there since. We converted our loft years ago to provide bedrooms for all 3 kids who have now left the nest. We did consider downsizing but have decided to stay put as love living here.
What abode do you reside in?

Semi-detached but because of the layout of the bigger estate we’re in we rarely hear a peep out of anyone because we have a green space to the other side. Pretty handy!

Semi detached 3 bed in greater london

First house owned

Wife and I are going to have a loft extension added in next 2 years to make sure we don’t have to move we love it too much

First house was a one bedroom "starter home" end of terrace. It was £45k and we could not raise the extra £3k to buy the 2 bed version!! We've got through a couple of semi-detached before this house... in a smashing village in Monmouthshire, high up overlooking the Severn Bridges. Been here 10 years in Feb,

...I've started lobbying my wife to move to Cornwall.... want to be close to beaches... and St Enodoc, or it that Saunton (Devon , I know) or Bude, or Trevose... or Budleigh...ok golf and Beach...

Largish detatched pile in Watford. I have lived there for over 20 years, and have no intention of moving until I retire. Not that I like Watford, I don't, I just like my house.

Small 3 bed bungalow in Mudeford that were renovating, smallest house weve had for a long while, but were mortgage free and 1/2 a mile from the sea :) for now anyway (this is my 14th house lol)

14? Pah, we're on 26th, or 27th...

Detached with alot outside but really its just a living nightmare and money pit, something always breaking or needing to do.

I long to move back to a nice smallish bungalow with small garden, can not come soon enough, may get more time for golf.
