Well that was a let down.

Just returned home from our trip to Stoke by Nayland to play the Gainsborough course. Had really high hopes but was pretty let down if I'm honest, no where near as good as I was expecting it to be. I know it's the time of year and that during the summer months it'll probably be a lot better but I'm not talking about condition, just general layout and other little bits like no sign posts telling you were to go when you walk off the green. There were a few signposts but not really when you needed them, we must have looked lost walking to the 3rd tee block as the course marshal came over and pointed us in the right direction. Then a few of the ball cleaners didn't have the plungers in them which is just rubbish really, even my gaff has them!

I'll do a proper review in the reviews section but not as good as I was hoping, won't be rushing back.

Played terrible on the front 9 but pulled it together on the back 9. Although 26 points is still pretty crap. Think I had 5 points through the first 7 holes and 2 of them came on the 1st!
