..... Joined the 4-Wedge brigade.

TBF, I did try gripping down the shaft on the different wedges, but I just couldn't get on with it.

The Taylormade hybrid has been taken out of the bag and is now destined for ebay. Going in is a shiny new 52* wedge and while I was at it got a 56* as a replacement for my worn Sandwedge.

Now carrying PW,52*,56*,60*.....I'm now expecting some abuse from Bob :D

The Taylormade hybrid

Which TM is it?
How much do you want for it?
what’s it like condition wise?

I might be interested :-)

You're the second person that asked me about this club in as many minutes.

It's a TaylorMade SuperFast 3-18* Rescue , Regular flex with the stock Re-Ax 60 shaft.

Had it about 8 months. In excellent condition with only usual wear on the sole and a few ball marks on the face.

If the chap who just made me the offer lets me down, It'll be going in the "For Sale" section, complete with price and pictures.

I've recently figured out what Bob was talking about regarding wedges. I've worked really hard on my short game technique and I can now hit my chips much higher and land more softly with my 52 and 56 degree wedges than I though was possible. I must have had too much lean before whereas now the shaft is almost vertical.

That said I still love having four wedges in the bag as it helps tackle a whole manner of secnarios from inside 100 yards.

Good luck with it and I hope it brings your scores down. :)

I'm going to launch (see what I did there?) a new 70 degree Super Lob Wedge for the golfers who cant hit a half shot from 50 yds :D :D :D

That's quite a big market bob, wanna go halves on the profits? :D

We could call it the Lob-Easy!

Bob dont read this thread, just look away :D

On the contrary...

As long as it's has 'anti shank' properties for the needy :)

Went through a phase of having the PW, 52, 56 and 60 and to be honest the 60 cost as many shots as it saved. Granted my short game is rank (think it's spelt right) anyway but too many options just made it harder. Interesting what Tiger says about vertical shaft as it isn't miles off what the Linear method does.

Back to the PW 52 and 58 and much happier. The wedges are showing their age a bit and don't spin as much as some of the newer models but it is a consistent and predictable amount so I can't see me changing soon. The only downside is all the dinges on the sole and the face from pesky bunkers in stones  :( :D

Can you give us/me a clue as to what this "linear method" is?

I've googled it, and it's hopeless. Nothing to see anywhere....

How on earth can anyone sell dvds without the first piece of information about it?
