Just won the Amateur Championship in Troon on the last hole of the 36 hole final.
Fair play to Matthias Schwab for getting to the final having virtually never played links golf matchplay before.


Dunbar get a place in the Open Championship iirc, will be an great experience for him for sure.

I would expect "spoiler alert" or something similar, as widely used on many other golf fora, and possibly F1 fora too, although I couldn't give a toss about F1.

Watched the highlights last night and it looked like a superb final. Fantastic standard of golf considering the elements as Royal Troon is a beast into any wind.

The young Austrian lad must be sick finishing bogey bogey to lose but thats golf.
