Weekend Golf

Club match on Sunday pm against the club that is no more than 2 miles from ours. Should be a bit feisty!! :)

Is rained off... As soon as this weather is better I hope to play again with some forum members. A rematch with midnight would be good!

Something wrong here - strange bright light in the sky.
Not a bad morning, started off cloudy but the sun is out now. It is due to change later this afternoon with yet more rain. Course is open so have a round booked for 3pm, probably just as it starts to rain.
We are lucky that the course is quite elevated and hilly so there are only a couple of soggy bits even after severe weather. Whilst the surrounding area had flooding a couple of weeks ago the course stayed open and wasn't in bad nick.

Club Open was scheduled for tomorrow but has been pushed back til August in light of the weather. Hasn't rained much tonight though so hopefully course is open tomorrow and playable and I'll roll up and see if anyone's around. Due for a round with a mate on Sunday.

36 holes would be pretty useful to work on the new grip our pro told me to try out.
i cant believe they closed the course, that would be the first time then ian,i understand crown golf has sold eccy park out to another company, heard they are going to make big changes and want more of a pay and play set up,whats the story.

Our Club champ qualifier and 36 holer has been put back to August now Martin, was meant to be playing the Brogan Trophy at Colville Park this morning but it has been cancelled too. Wishaw is closed again today, absolute shocking weather for July

Cloudy with blue skies and the sun breaking through and no rain forecast until tomorrow but my course and many courses in the area are all closed until a Monday inspection takes place so its off to the range this afternoon and no doubt tomorrow also.

Raining at 6.00 when I woke up and as it was a roll up I gave up and decided a well deserved lie in was in order. Hit a few balls on the way back from seeing my mum to clear my head more than hone any technque for the stableford tomorrow

Playing in a comp at Nailcote Hall tomorrow which is open and playable by all accounts. Great venue, its where the National Par 3 Championships are held.

Played members and guests day today, a couple of puddles on 13 but course has held u really well, stil fairly firm underfoot.

Hoping to play in sweep in morning.
