Wedges

MD wedges have always stood out to me as value. Love my Norman Drew wedge and I have heard good things about the Seve range was well.

Horses for courses I'm afraid. Some like the Cally X series feel heavier than say the TM Z's I use. Mizuno and Vokey aren't too heavy and the Ping and Cleveland are great for giving you spin. It's about trying them and seeing what suits your game and budget.

As an aside to the OP have you thought about going to the Cleveland fitting centre at Maidenhead and booking a fitting there?

I like Mizuno and Cleveland wedges. Don't like the Vokeys. For me, they grip the ball too much and I find that this stifles shot creativity. I have also tried the new Ping tour wedges. They are a club longer than other brands but lack feel around the green in my opinion. The best wedge I have ever used is a Cleveland gun metal 588 Tour wedge. I don't know why I ever stopped using it. I put it in my bag again 3 rounds ago and have chipped in twice since.

PS - carrying 4 wedges is daft.
