wedding 1st dance

right everyone, I need your help.

I'm getting married on April 21st and have to come up with a 1st dance. both myself and my other half agree we want a song which isn't the normal soppy slow jazz number.

We are after something less common. Now there have been ideas such as Guns N Roses - I used to love her, but it does have to vaguely resemble a love song.

I've though of The Verve, Phil Collins, Simply Red, Snow Patrol, the list goes on.

I'm interested in your thoughts but again I stress no common soppy rubbish.

good luck with that one , me and the mrs spent ages trying to decide, i wanted the one that was playing when i first met her , but seeing as we were at a prodigy gig and smack my bitch up was playing, we decided not to :D its hard trying to pick one thats not too cheesy

Great tune and brilliant band. Going to see them at the 02 at the end of March.

Start off with "One day like this" and then about 30 mins afterwards have a 2nd dance to "Grounds for divorce"!! :D
