Weather forecasts

Try:- xcweather.co.uk and metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest-uk-vis-html ( the dashes should be along the bottom of the line but I have never learnt how to do this )

the key right of number 0 while holding upper case key.......like this _ _ _ _

None of them - they're all rubbish.
Whatever the forecast says it seems to exactly the opposite around here.

Licking your finger and holding it in the air is as good a method as any.

Down here on the south coast, if you just listen, rather than "look" at the forecast map it can be appear to be wrong.
You often hear, heavy rain in the south east. When in fact being right on the south coast (Brighton area) we often miss the worst of the weather.

So I always, 3 days and the night before, look at the local forecast and map which is usually quite accurate.

If my knee is stiff, it's going to rain.

That's all I need to know..................

Well it seems as there is no clear winner. The tried and tested method of look out the window/stick your finger in the air is a good one albeit only for current weather and we all know that the weather in these isles can change quicker than Kate Moss on a fashion parade. I reckon best to check a few reports then guess and then go out regardless. Bit of rain doesn't stop me anyway!
