I don't know about the rest of the country but the BBC 10 day forecast for the North West is mainly dry. Granted it often changes, but if its accurate it should means the wet courses will be drying out nicely in time for the new season.

I for one can't wait.

Fcast looks decent, dryish and plenty of wind, perfect drying conditions. Going to go and amble 9 this afternoon as too nice to sit at the desk

Forecast looks good for the weekend, though according to metoffice.gov.uk it's going to get up to about 15* about an hour after I get off the course!

Met office weather forecast for Monifieth says it will feel like -2 when I tee off at 3 this afternoon - and it's sunny here
