I've the Galvin Green one as well. Got it at a discount at our Pro shop. It's definitely recommend it.
There isn’t really any faffing about if you have trolley and umbrella holder. Revolutionised playing golf in the rain.Hats are way better than umbellas - far less faffing about.
In light/moderate rain my normal leather hat is fine https://www.bushgear.co.uk/collections/hats/products/barmah-hat-squashy-kangaroo-brown
Heavy rain, then the Galvin Green hat is tough to beat - other have posted the link
NODoesn't Homer have one ?
They're no good if you're 6ft1 and have to duck down all the time to stay or get under the thing. There isn’t really any faffing about if you have trolley and umbrella holder. Revolutionised playing golf in the rain.

Didn't know that, but anyway...I've had my trolley with brolley up blown over in the wind and create a nice mess......I'll stck with the bucket hat and waterproof cart bag.Callaway do a longer shafted umbrella for tall people. It makes a big difference.
Got one - but still think hats are better. There isn’t really any faffing about if you have trolley and umbrella holder. Revolutionised playing golf in the rain.
I have a Sunderland badged one. I don't bother with unbrellas, just the bucket hat if it's raining hard enough. I don't understand why more people don't wear one, they stop the water from going down your neck and off your face.
For summer try a Tilley Hat. Recommended to me by a friend who has had skin cancer. They come with a lifetime guarantee. Not waterproof, this only relates to your summer query.I have a bucket hat of sorts, but when it's windy it doesn't stay on.
I really need to play in one, especially in the summer as I have an ear/skin / sunburn problem.
Is there a make of hat that will stay on in the wind that someone could recommend, please?
Get your local tailor to sew an elastic strap onto it.I have a bucket hat of sorts, but when it's windy it doesn't stay on.
