I'd like to be one but can't afford to be, unfortunately.
But for those that are, Murph immediately springs to mind, I've just seen a 5yr old Patek Phillipe Nautilus sold at auction for

£82,500!
Now that's a lot of money.

That's probably a 5711 Nautilus, and that is a bit cheap. They are about 25k new, but they won't sell you one. Anything up to 100k is about right pre owned.

You should look at Richard Mille or Jacob and Co if you want to see something expensive,

Cheap!
I wish I hadn't taken mine to the charity shop. ;)

I decided to sell my beloved wrist watch that I was given when I passed my 11 Plus. I can't believe how much my H Samuel Everite fetched on Ebay.

Just shows how true those old saws are.

You can fool some of the people .....

A fool and his money .....

Still. If people want to buy into the con of "it's an investment", then good luck to them. ;)

It's now discontinued anyway. They just cancelled all the people on the 15 year waiting list.
They were never going to get one anyway, so they are no worse off.

I've been bequeathed one by my Uncle when he goes.
I don't want it for a very long time!
