Washing golf shoes in a washing machine

I usually use an old tooth brush, washing up liquid and then dry them with an old towel. I do this after every round during autumn/winter. Mine look relatively new.

Mind you I've got about 8 pairs of golf shoes.

Anyone do this at all?
Got a few pairs of Footjoys that are in need of a good clean.

I haven't done it but if I did I would use the hand wash setting with Low spin setting..

Don’t do it. I ruined my footjoys in the washing machine. Even with a low temp wash.

I wonder if the wife will agree for me to get a new car under the same reasoning. Well, it is a bit grubby. Too compound matters, I have parked it facing the wrong way too. I just need a new one pointing the other way.

The amount of wet rough that mine get dragged through keeps them clean enough
