so driver is out of the bag and I am looking for a strong 3 wood for off the tee, either 13/14 degrees and a regular shaft

must be cheap as chips as I is skinto but may find a bit extra for something special ;)

Gibbo - I have a 13 degree Cleveland Launcher FL that I got from DCB - it's a GM review club so it didn't cost me anything.
It has a stiff shaft but a fairly soft tip.
You're welcome to try it - I don't really use it.

Or more money than sense. I sent a DVD...was about £2 postage! Golf club must be about £50

Or I could be passing on a club that was sent out Free of Charge to another Forummer to review for the magazine who, having seen my request, sent it on to me so I could try it - again Free of Charge.
I am now doing the same. I have no further use for it, it's sat in my cupboard doing nothing and if someone else can get the benefit from it then I'm more than willing to pass it on - Free of Charge.
There must be lots of clubs, dished out by the magazine for reader review that are now not being used.
Move them on to someone else who may be able to use them.

Free of Charge.........

I've also liberated a putter that was languishing in CVG's shed and sent it to JammyDodger to help get the great Man back into this great game - guess what? Free of Charge - same principle as above....

to add to this, if it doesnt work for me I will do the same :)

If (when ;)) it doesn't work, let me know and you can have my Adams Tight Lies 3 wood which is 13* and a "firm" flex (somewhere between reg and stiff) and is an easy club to hit. Would want a bit of cash for it, but not a lot.
