I've lost my 6 iron, rang up various golf shops and Mizuno, no joy as of yet, mind have appeared on eBay either, does anyone know of a Mizuno stockist or anyone that might have access to a spare? Stiff shafted if possible I can get the lie changed easily enough

Do Mizuno use 6 iron as their demo iron? If so may be worth phoning around local Mizuno fitters and seeing if any still have one knocking about in their fitting carts

Mizuno's fitting cart uses special adapters on the shafts and hosels so that they are all interchangeable. When a new model comes out they just get the new heads.

I tried different shops around Leeds, now that I'm back home, I'll be ringing around as well to see, not many Mizuno specialists over here though. It's going to be difficult now as well because the 800 is out of date, so Mizuno themselves don't even stock them anymore

just keep checking ebay. I had to do the same for my nike 7 iron. It was a bit of a long wait but EVERYTHING turns up on ebay. you just need patience.

Try Clays Golf in Wrexham, they are a Mizuno fitting center, and last time I was in they had 2 bags of demo irons (as Fundy says mostly 6 irons)
I think they charge around £5 each, dont know what spec tho

Keep your eyes on ebay for a JPX800 iron. Even if it has the wrong shaft it is not too expensive to get it reshafted with the correct spec. Don't buy one that has a graphite shaft though as these have a different bore in the hosel and are weighted differently.

One question that has not been asked is where did you loose the original? If you left it somewhere on the course it is quite possible that someone has picked it up but has forgotten to hand it in. It can take quite a while for them to filter back to the Pro shop.

Fairly sure I left it on the driving range a while ago, went to university without realising, then when I got there, noticed that obviously it'd gone missing
