WANTED - Irons. nothing specific.

As above, looking for a set of winter irons for myself. Can't use them this year due to injury but for the future.

Not looking to spend masses as may want to tinker with shafts so what have you got guys?

Thanks OS but £150 is a bit rich for my blood for a set to be used as little as through the winter. Cheers anyways.

Graphite no good so would definitely need to re-shaft so additional cost.

Great feeling clubs, look really good and a bit more forgiving than blades

I probably will tinker, but with shafts looking likely to cost around the ton mark, I would be spending more on my winter set than I did for my 53's if I paid £150-ish for a set and then re-shafted them.
It's really an exercise to curb my boredom through the next 2-3 months of being laid-up.

£100, they are well used though.

The grips are ok replaced at the start of the season but some of the heads have a few knicks, the matt grey on the faces is pretty warn

Thanks for the detail Tim, will look at cast as I think forged will just get totally beat-up on solid fairways, hence protecting the 53's.
