I am looking to try or buy a x stiff project x shaft for a Titleist 910 driver or willing to try any make really getting a low hook to my drives at the minute and wondering if a stiffer shaft will help me

Just a thought mate but why not head up to your local AG and test a few out? Cheaper than buying a dozen different shafts

Sounds more like a swing fault to me - so not something you should be trying to overcome with a change of shaft imo.

Whnat shaft do you currently have? does it start left and go further left, or start straight/right and then snap over left?

TBH, it sounds like it is a swing fault. If you have a powerful swing and the clubhead is overtaking your hands then it will be whipping through the impact area with more dynamic loft on it causing a high shot to the left.
If you are hitting low hooks then it sounds to me that you are somehow smothering the ball.

I would try out a couple of demo drivers with different shafts before parting with any cash if you are convinced it is the shaft that is the issue but if it was me, I would have a lesson first to get your swing checked out.
