Walker Cup at Royal St Georges

Did you know that when the Walker Cup came to Royal St Georges - a men-only club - the locker rooms were converted by members wives to make them more feminine for the golfers.

A nice touch was that each urinal in the loo, had a bouquet of flowers put in there! Very sweet!

I'd heard that story too, but it was the Curtis Cup back in the 1980s sometime I think
