I bought a cg15 wedge last year and wasn't really impressed with it, so I bought a second hand Titleist Vokey wedge (not the spin milled one) and used that for the last 3 months.

Yesterday I took the cg15 out as nothing was holding on the greens, and I was very surprised, I could actually attack the pin instead of rolling one in, fair to say the Cleveland wedge won't be leaving the bag anytime soon!

Anyone else got the Cleveland CG15 wedges and enjoying them? Or do people still swear by the Vokeys?

I had a vokey and didn't find it great tbh. Tried the cg15 and liked it but I couldn't get a 50 or 52 degree 1 the other month so went down the Nike vr route.

I have a 52 deg vokey and it is very good, i have been through more wedges than a fat kid eats chips, and I reckon it is down to personal pref.

I have a cleveland cg 14, which is good and mizzy mpt 10 too, they all have a purpose.

Thinking of getting a 56 deg vokey to replace the cleveland but in no rush.

I've never really got on with Vokeys - can't put my finger on why..
CG15's with the (now) illegal Zip Grooves gave such awesome amounts of spin I felt like a Pro - always having to pitch past the flag and hope the backspin wasn't too much to send the ball back off the front of the green again!
MPT-10's are supposed to have similar grooves to the CG15 but I don't get the silly spin anymore - the MPT-11 is just sweet!

I had a set of Vokey wedges but changed up to MD's they spin far more than the Titleists and Mizunos etc. They are less expensive than the Titleists etc but far outperform them and have a big range of designs, colours and finishes.
I honestly think some guys on here could do with trying a couple of Norman Drew edition wedges in their bag, I'd be pretty confident that they wouldn't be replaced with anything else, especially those who want to be a little more agressive around the green.

Brendy, I like the MD ranges, they make some beautiful looking wedges however I felt that they didn't offer the same feel as bigger brands.

Just my opinion but I do like their clubs.

I tried them and to me they just felt too light I was wishing the were heavier as they performed really well but in my fists they just felt like nothing :( but a really excellent wedge do they do a "heavy" version?

I replaced the grip on my 58 and had an extra wrap of tape put on, it really doesn't feel any lighter than my ap2s.
I suppose you could try lead tape but if they feel too light, maybe they arnt for you as vokeys are quite weighty.
