Virtual reality

Any advice please?
I'm trying to find something different to pass the time away and I was wondering if these VR headsets are any good?
Has anyone got one of these headsets?
Are they just for games or can you watch flims on them?

Got an Oculus one priced about £175 at Xmas for one of the kids, wasn't fancy enough apparently with only 1 controller and he ignored it, us adults had a try and there was a wow factor but the novelty/wow factor lasted 3 or 4 days only, has since been sold. Save your money.
You can watch films but wearing a close fitting mask ain't all that. The one I had you were watching Netflix sitting inside an alpine chalet with mountain views out the windows. Picture quality wasn't as good though.

Looks like it is as good as 3D TV.
