Eight of us are going to Vilamoura for 4 nights in a few weeks time, can anyone give me an idea what the nightlife is like i.e. pubs, nightclubs for those on the pull and casinos for the gamblers?

never been but it is on the list of things to do soon as im able too. My mate went end of last year and really enjoyed it.

Been three times. Love it. Going again in 6 weeks time. There's plenty of places around the marina and the street behind. Its not frigheningly expensive but it isn't as cheap as some of the other resort along there. We stayed in the Vila Gale the first visit & Dom Pedro Marina the 2nd time. Last time was just out of Vilamoura, and the local pub was way cheaper, 1 Euro a pint, but not much around it.

the marina area is bloody pricey, but that's where the 'scenery' is. Go one street back and it's far cheaper. If you're looking for late night entertainment the casino is fine, but the dancing girl bars are VERY expensive.
