This lockdown finally spurred me into getting a tripod and trying a bit of video analysis of my swing.
The tripod came with a bluetooth remote control for the camera on the phone - an ABShutter3.
It works just fine on my current phone (Moto G7 Play).
But that phone only does 30fps, so I dug out an old Samsung S5 Mini that supports 120fps.
Although the ABShutter3 pairs OK with the S5, pressing the button does nothing.
My understanding is that the ABShutter3 works by masquerading as a keyboard and sending volume up/down commands.
I've checked that the volume buttons on the S5 do indeed operate the camera.
I've tried Googling the problem, but the only thing I found that looked like it might help had a link to more info that is no longer online.

So I thought that given there must be loads on this forum who have videoed their swings with phones I'd ask around here on the off chance that someone else might have sorted this out.
