Very difficult trying to find a Club to join

Gillingham is the club in question, apparently they are struggling for members so Ive been told.

As for up the A2, theres not a lot of choice really, Sittingbourne or Rochester & Cobham, the latter of the which I dont want to join.

Guess youd commute to WM or B. Via Larkfield ?

Guess MidKent not an option then ?

RichardC is a Bearsted member. I've played there a few times and it's a decent track when you get to know it, there are quite a few blind shots that are pretty impossible to work out but two or three rounds soon sorts that out. The clubhouse is very good and I found the pro very welcoming

We have a reciprocal arrangement with them (Ashford), Wrotham, Canterbury, sene valley, tenterden which makes them all quite good value at about £15 to £17 mid week

Bearsted is really easy for me, cut through Boxley from Walderslade and its 10-15mins

West Malling is slightly longer, and juding by the hour it took me to get to Wrotham Heath this morning, it rules out Wrotham for sure for me as in the summer, I like to get a round in after work quite regularly, and the traffic for Wrotham and West Malling may be prohibitive, So far Bearsted seems the logical choice.

Nice course, hilly as I recall, sadly too far out.
