Today at the 4th hole at Millport, its a lovely little par 3 of 120 yards surrounded by six bunkers, I knocked a beautiful wedge to 8 feet. JJF69 hit a very very uncharacteristic pull and missed the green left.

Yes the wee bazza pitched in for his two and I missed from 8 feet!

Never count your chickens and all that...... its oh, so true!

craw, I played there with a customer in August and its a craking wee hole. I put it to 2 ft and bagged the 2 on the first round and offered my tee shot on the second round to the rough fairy who kept it forever. Was the course dry enough.

Course was super Andy, we will be doing it again maybe next month, winter rate is a tenner! Absolute bargain, beautiful views.

I think a wee outing could be arranged, try for a couple of 4 balls.

Just pick a dry day and your laughing. The course was wet in places but not too bad, the top half of the 9th green was wet but other than that the greens were good, the 17th green was off due to drainage work but overall £10 was bargain of the day! The wind picked up and boy was it cold!
