I have a Shark that’s like James Bonds rifle!
It only works when my palm print is on the handle.

It annoys me as well, you dont drive Model T do youNot going to make a puerile comment about women knowing this fact![]()
Sorry Alan PartridgeSorry to be pedantic but a vacuum cleaner vacuums. Hoover is a brand. Amazing how well they've done to have their name regularly used for the thing it does.
It is one of my pet peeves - petty pet peeve but all the same![]()
Another Gtech (cordless) manoeuvrable, efficient and light. Can’t believe I’m asking this
But our G tech vacuum is on its last legs, any recommendations on a replacement?
Needs to be cordless.
It's a successful marketing plan. They make it seem that the bagged vac aren't as good and more mess, but the reality is that a good bagged vac needs less maintainence as the filters of bagless are so easily clogged and need very regular washing/replacing at greater cost. Why do people like bagless vacs? For me I don't want to be emptying dust , dander etc out into a bin.
We have a Henry at work, bagless Shark at home. Bagless allows us to vacuum and empty with ease. I know when it needs emptying, it's clear. With a bag you either guess or wait until it stops picking up.Why do people like bagless vacs? For me I don't want to be emptying dust , dander etc out into a bin.
Something is wrong with yours if that is happening. We have a cordless one, had it for 3-4 years, and we can vacuum the whole house, mid sized 4 bedroom house, comfortably with one charge.Cordless shark’s are brutal, feels like you get about 2 minute out them before it needs charged again.
You can unhook the engine bit from the main frame to shoebox size and use loads of different fittingsAgree with corded Shark, but not sure what you mean about versatility- ours only does the ‘ hoovering’![]()
I imagine with no opposable thumbs they won't be great at holding on to it...I use a Henry Pet. With two Labradors the struggle is real! It does a good job of sucking up hairs and much prefer the bag option. Simple and effective.
Don't be daft.I imagine with no opposable thumbs they won't be great at holding on to it...![]()

I think she means that getting them to keep still while you run the vacuum cleaner over them is the difficult part.

No guessing with my Miele as it's got an indicator. We have a Henry at work, bagless Shark at home. Bagless allows us to vacuum and empty with ease. I know when it needs emptying, it's clear. With a bag you either guess or wait until it stops picking up.
Every so often we take apart the bagless cylinder and filter, give them a wash. All very simple.
You've never tried a Miele then. I have to use mine on the lowest power as the suction is so strong. The suction is better, as you are not sucking the air the through the paper bag.
Personally I empty straight in to the black wheelie bin and it drops straight out the bottom of the container.
I am not that richYou've never tried a Miele then. I have to use mine on the lowest power as the suction is so strong.
