Got mine booked later today, so far I've had two Pfizer's.
Anyone know if it's safe to have any of th others, if that's what they offer ?

I think for the booster they give you something different to what you had previously (I could be wrong but everyone I know who has had a booster, has had something different to the first to jabs)

Aren't they all safe?
I understood the booster was from Fz, Maderna and another (not AZ). Ive had AZ so far, and my booster is 8th Dec

Every booster is safe otherwise they wouldn't be offered

I've had mine, no reaction other than a sore arm

Mum had hers this week she was fine

Dad had his same time as me fine

Mother in law this week was a bit off for few days

Wife just had hers an hour ago

Getting up early off nights tomorrow and heading off for booster and flu jab.

Should be a fun day, no sleep and two jabs.....

I’m in no rush to get mine.
Was in a right tacking after both my jabs.

One of my work mates was a bad fettle for a week after both jabs. He's now been off work for a month after catching covid and is still struggling...

Only Moderna or Pfizer are available as boosters in the U.K. unless you have specific allergies. Both are excellent vaccines and have a highly favourable benefit-risk profile. There is also good evidence that mixing is safe and at least as effective, if not more effective than sticking to one brand. I had 2 x Pfizer, then Moderna. No reaction to any of them.

Providing you aren't given the version that gives you shingles.

No vaccine “gives you the shingles”. Reactivation of prior infection with varicella-zoster, usually first experienced as chickenpox, gives you the shingles.

There have been reports of a higher rate of shingles in people with a previous autoimmune condition who received the Covid vaccine, so it is possible that the reactivation was triggered in some of those, but it is still a rare occurrence.

Had the Moderna booster last Saturday, arm ached from about two hours after through to Tuesday.

Also felt slightly "fluey" on the Sunday.

Tell us again exactly what your job is at the nuclear power station? ? ?

Not been offered mine yet but it’s nearly 6 months since I had my 2nd AZ so should be contacted soon.
