the golf is starting to annoy me now, the amount of advert breaks isnt even funny... the same adverts every time aswell which is driving me crazy.
 
Good old Sky, choosing to ignore Ally Forsyth yet again all day, lets mention every English golfer, especially the one at +8!!!!
 
What happened John Daly? I see he's WD. Such a waste of a place for some other pro. I think it's time both tours threw him out.

Bit of a short sighted view there. He might be injured or feeling unwell or anything. Lyle should also be banned from entering any comp in your view them, not forgetting Casey for WD'ing? I would rather watch Daly over one round than a MarsBar seller or Journeyman.
 
Parmo, you may not be out of it yet mate, Big Bob Bubka was on talksport this morning and said by the time Tiger gets out today the wind will have picked up with some rain forecast. Hopefully this will mean a bad round for him.

Fingers crossed for my 3 pickss, Westwood, Poulter and Ogilvy.
 
At least all the marsbar sellers finished the 1st day. What was Daly's excuse this time?

I seen him at the Irish Open this year (from a distance) The crowd was following him (lord knows why) I'd rather watch the tryers than him. Some poor git is paying him millions just to turn up and walk away.

I agree to an extent, but Daly is a good player and the Euro tour is a better place with him on it. The issue I have with some of the meant to be top European golfers (Casey, Poulter, Rose and many many more) is that they only turn up to European evens with big cash and to play their min tournaments for next seasons card and the rest is spent in the US with their horrid golf fans and shouts of "in the hole" and just their sheer ignorance. Whereas european events loose spectators due to this and overall the European tour suffers due to players greed.
 
Daly has injured his back, and on the topic of Daly how great does he look now hes lost all that weight, well done John, keep up the good work and hopefully on the rail tracks this time.

Like Parmo, Daly is one of the few players I would gladly pay money to watch.
 
Daly eagles the 7th ( his 16th ) to go to +2, but then doubles the last two holes to go +6.

It wouldn't surprise me if he had an injury there. I think it's fantastic about all the weight loss, but he'll have also lost so much strength and stamina it's bound to have a negative affect on his game, and could easily make him more prone to injury..

I think he's trying to control his demons, but I don't think he's got the best regime in place to get to where he wants to be. But I'll support anyone who is putting in the effort that he obviously has this year.
