Talked father in law into getting a hand held GPS (He doesnt like playing with a watch) Something like a Garmin G3
which gives a visual layout and basic information, Seen a couple on the bay but wondering if there are any other units we should be looking at.

He doesnt want to pay any annual fees and looking at about the £50 mark for a used unit.

What else should I be looking for?

I'm considering selling my skycaddie aire 2, which can be used with or without membership (it still has 5 months membership on it), it's in as new condition and works well on the course (I've gone to a laser). I'm sure I have the box as well.

SkyCaddie Aire or Aire ll is an excellent bit of kit, and as stated above, no need for membership but you're still guaranteed regular updates
