US PGA 2025 Quail Hollow

I think coincidentally Rahm's breakdown was the same as Rory's "bottlejobs" often go. He got himself within touching distance but realised he had to make a few birdies to get himself ahead, so he started going for pins more. Just over-drew it on that par 3 going for the pin when he'd probably normally play a bit a safer. Having doubled that he's got nothing to lose so continues trying to make shots back on the last two holes. Finishing 2nd or 8th is much the same to him.

Back reality for those who didn't think Scottie was in a league of his own.
Cant see him winning the open though, especially if this dry weather continues.

I don't know, his long game is that good that I could see him winning an Open leaving driver in the bag, Tiger-style.
I'd say most of them will be doing that if it's firm. Just don't think distance off the tee will be any benefit though so can see someone more experienced doing well

You only have to read social media over the last 4 days

It was bad enough before the split but it’s even worse now with the “us and them” attitude from both

When it comes to a major it shouldn’t matter what tour someone plays on but as you said some are now “picking sides” and it’s toxic
We pick a side because Phil Mickelson told us to. Does anyone remember that?

Throwing clubs is one thing but blindly and wildly launching them with significant force in the direction of people is inexcusable. The marshall stood a couple of feet away could have been seriously hurt. Should have been DQ for sure, and a ban certainly wouldn't be unreasonable.
