Upcoming gear

I've seen both the callaway drivers, one being adjustable and they both look gorgeous, also those rumours about Luke Donald were something I haven't heard but I'd heard that he's talking to callaway and that atm unless mizuno offer him silly money he's going to callaway

Find that hard to believe as he is their flagship player in Europe and the US. Never say never of course but I don't think Cally will be where he ends up if he goes anywhere

Which is exactly why it's in the balance, I know for a fact callaway have been talking to him, but as you correctly pointed out he is their flagship player, and it is likely that mizuno will up his money, I do know that he dropping the r11 though as it stands out being white

One of the main reasons for releasing the white R11 was so that viewers and spectators were in no doubt about whose club a pro was using irrespective of the head cover so I would have thought that any manufacturer would lover to get the R11 out of their pro's bag

Fair point, I could be wrong, he may well go nowhere All I know is he has talked to callaway, and that hes dropping the r11 that is something I know is fact, Ive been told the deciding factor will be the money offered both parties but that is just word of mouth, back on topic the new callaway drivers look very very good they'll be called the razr x and the razr fit

I hardly think it will all be down to money as he's not short of a few bob especially this year

I like the look of the new YES! putters.

Very clean lines in white and black. Bit of a rip on TM's ghost range but still, very easy on the eye.

Surely the only reason was to help alignment of the poor club golfer :p

Homer, I also heard Luke will be offski as Mizuno cant afford to keep him. So I find it very believeable as money talks. I cant remember the figures but I believe that hes on 3 million a year at present and major winners command 8+ million. These figures may be wrong but its HUGE crazy money we're talking!

The Callaway wedges look mighty purrrrrty. Nice and simple... just hope they aren't covered in graphics and assorted text by the time they hit the shelves. Are these clubs completed models or still in development?

And the chance to match orange Cobra clubs to my orange shoes may be too much to resist. I am such a tart :o :D
