Playing in a three ball today.
After all three of us had played our second shots, here is where the balls ended up:

Unfortunately we were playing in a competition so had to go by the book. Please tell me one of you had a stab at getting all three out in one go!
There was so little sand in the bunker I'm not sure how it was raked had much effect. It was more like hard pan with a millimetre or two of dust on top.A little bit of understanding there when you study how the area has been raked.
So a lot of marking, playing and then trying to re-create the lie.Unfortunately we were playing in a competition so had to go by the book.

Indeed. In the end we decided that the best course of action was to put two tee pegs equidistant about a foot either side of where the balls were so we could replace them in the correct spot after recreating the lie. (Since the lie was pretty much hard as nails, recreating it wasn't that difficult). There were comments along the lines of "I'm sure there was a bit more dust under my ball" as we re-raked the surfaceSo a lot of marking, playing and then trying to re-create the lie.![]()
