Uniflex Shafts !

Hi All

Just noticed that the shafts on my clubs are Uniflex, I assume that means they are not regular or stiff?

As my swing has gotten faster over the last year
ive noticed that if I use my regular fast swing the ball goes left eve whn I know I struck it really well, im a lefty by the way.

If I swing slightly slower it goes straight everytime.

I assume these Uniflex shafts are for beginners and you cant really swing too fast, or the shaft does work as it shouldand maybe I need something a little stiffer?

If your a left hander and were using shafts that were not stiff enough then the ball would be going right, I believe.

Take note of the 'I believe' bit - maybe someone like bobmac might be able to confirm for certain!

Uniflex are somewhere between R and S.

If the shaft is too soft, you can hit it either way, depends what you do. The general problem will be loss of control aand perhaps too much height. High hooks are common, but some people slice with soft shafts.

I do hit it really high.
Looking at new clubs next year, so will deffo get custom fitted.
