You upload to a server from your pc and download from a server to your pc. Just a heads up, not having a dig.

When we were at school, use of Calculators in exams was banned & we had to show our working out on the exam paper.

Also there wasn't GCSE's

CSE was the lowest level of exam
O-Level was the next level up.
A-Level was the highest typ of exam taken at the time.

It seems GCSE is an amalgamation of the old CSE with O-Level's, which in my mind cheapened the exam & its standing, as O-Levels were still something to be proud of at the time. CSE's were not worth taking unless you got a grade 1 which was equivelent to a C at O-Level, or at the very least a grade 2. Either of which showed your ability to take an O-Level in that subject.

I thought CSE's became more acceptable once it became more coursework led. This meant you were marked on a number of set assignements over the year and these marks were carried forward and made up 60% of the overall pass mark with the remainder coming from the end of year exam. I only did one (maths) and got a grade 1 with an overall mark of 98% for coursework and exam.

We had O levels but you could be put in an express class (I did English Language a year early) and as a result we got to do and advanced O level which was an one year course that was harder than O and not a two year course like A levels.
