He was selling balls and all of his gear out of his bag (not clubs) out of the window of #1 Golf Place bar at the open in St Andrews during the Open last year. He charged an arm and a leg plus a surplus for a signature.

It was about £4.50 a pint in there and he must have run up some bill for him to need to sell his stuff.

On of the lads in our group bought the luminescent yellow JD balls last year for the winter. One frosty morning he handed them out and we all give them a go.

Hard as a rock which isn't great on frosty greens - BUT - they are silly long off the tee!!

One of the lads in our group played with them until February, but eventually had to bin them as they were impossible to putt/chip with.
