ultrasonic club cleaning

Hmm was gong to shoot you down but £3... I think I would be interested for that.

I do however enjoy cleaning my clubs for the most part.

good luck with the venture.

The website needs contact info, phone and email, locations you cover etc etc might be worthwhile saying you will travel for corporate events or organised tournaments....if you will

Before and after pictures will sell, currently I see 3 pictures of some 'reasonably' clean clubs but nothing that would make me contact you for my club or event etc etc

Hope you dont mind the constructive critique

There is a guy who sets up at our place every couple of months on a medal day or similar. I only get the grips done and really like the outcome - well worth the money.

I think its £5 for a set at ours - If it was £3 I reckon significantly more people would go for it also (more than double) - not that they are tight but the psycology between £3 that you probably have in change in your bag and getting a fiver out of their wallet which could be in their locker / car anyway, would do it I think.

I agree that you need to get someone to proof read your site.

Get yourself positioned to do opens so that you reach members from lots of different clubs.

And if you want your website to look professional, I recommend that you remove the photo of the putter shaped like a penis:o:thup:

Guys

Thankyou all for the comments/feedback you have given me

as you are aware yes this is a free website, just trying to keep my overheads down to a minimum.

i have done a little tweaking to it but as you can imagine, with it being a freebie i am limited to what i can change, i have added an 'about us' page and a 'contact us' page with the relevant details on.

i am not offended at all by any negative comments as this is the way we learn isnt it,
"learn by the mistakes we make"

please keep the feedback/comments coming and hopefully i can strive to continually improve.

Good luck in that venture.
I would have thought that Ultra Sonic cleaning would impact on the obsession that some have with cleaning their gear. Does it work on a pulse or just more of an annihilating rhythm? Quick too I would guess, not taking an eternity.
Clean clubs are like an Arpeggio out on the course with a smooth 1,2,3,4 timing.

Sounds like you could drum up a fair bit of business on here

P.S: If anyone spots what I did there I will be massively impressed :D

ultrasonic? right up ma street mallorca lee?????;)

lol lol lol lol lol

The results of cleaning photos are nice and shiney but some before and after photos might make more of an impression

current clubs are

retford golf club - regular spot
styrrup golf club - regular spot
mapperley golf club
minchinhampton golf club (not local - stroud)

also got a few dates coming up visiting some others not previously visited with some also not local

i am willing to travel anywhere should the venue allow and be financially viable :D

A lad In our village had a go at it with "club clean??", not sure it lasted long though. Do you live in Gainsborough.?

yes i do live in gainsborough.

club-clean could be and most probably the biggest company that offer this service but in reality they are a franchise company that sell regional franchises to anyone who are willing to pay the extortionate costs for it, but im sure you all know this anyway.

personally i wasnt prepared to part with such a high amount of my hard earned cash just to get the franchise, yes i am aware that their contacts would be extremely large but that doesnt guarantee the business blooming with success, during my initial research i spoke to a couple of the franchisees that attended a couple of events i was playing in and TBH they were not covering their initial outlay and were struggling to make it work. yes they do have the added bonus of not having to do alot of leg work so to speak as club-clean have a dedicated team to answer any incoming calls/e-mails but can this really justify the outlay they ask for initially and each and every year following!!!!

i do not have a problem with anyone taking the franchise route if that is what they are looking for but for my situation it wasnt really a viable option.

I didnt look at the site before you made the changes you mentioned, so cant comment. I will comment on this pic though:

I am a bit OCD, and that is not clean! wouldn't put that back in my bag after cleaning! Personally if it were my site, any pics of "after" would have to be 100% perfect, thats how dirty mine would be before i gave them to you!

Good luck and if i ever see you on my golfing travels, will certainly give you cash to have a go at mine, even if just for the grips!

Well done on the changes to your website. However one thing is missing from it. YOUR NAME. Everything else looks really good.

I can assure you that the club in the picture is clean, you should have seen the state of it before i cleaned them!!! yes i know i should have took some before pictures as well.
the only reason i can assume you think it is not clean is the area near the hosel that has a slightly darker patch in the grooves - this is a bit of rust from the players previous neglect ( first time cleaned in over 2 years) or the only other part of it that doeant look 100% is the bottom white groove, the "marks" there are paint chipping again the result of previous neglect.

and seriously although not wanting to turn any business away, if you gave me your set and they were like that then i would have no hesitation in stating how nice and clean they were and you would not see a difference in any before and after condition.

Whilst I can understand your reaction, only you are privy to that information and detail, as such you have to look at the observation as a potential customer does when coming across your site, like us, without that specific information and based only on the picture on your site, first impressions and all that!

Its possibly not the best picture then to show your results, is it?
