Ok chaps.

Maybe more for the folks here in NI, but we have our UC first round match against Ardminnen, anyone played it?

I am looking forward to getting back to some competative golf, first leg is 10th apr, away, I am in the team, so cant wait, hope it goes well, as if we win we play Rosepenna in r2, poss overnighter in Donegal will then ensue!
:)

Never even heard of it mate never mind played it.

Gonna miss playing the Ulster Cup this year (the only downside to getting to single figures) as its a great competition and you get to play some courses(for free and twice) that you may never get a chance to play otherwise.

Good luck

Blackwood in Bangor?
Its not bad, plenty of potential but just doesn't do it for me. Just up the road from our place and 6 other decent tracks.

Speaking of courses in your area Brendy ;)

Which of the Clandeboye courses would you recommend most?

Mate of mine has a free 2 ball and we want to play the better of the 2 and will they be in good nick at this time of year?

The dufferin Is the nicer of the two courses, longer and more testing. The ava is shorter and a little tighter though plenty of folks prefer it.both decent courses.

ardminnen,

about 10minutes past kirkistown golf club.

for practice id just head for your local field save the milage... if it is anything like what i remember as of 3yrs ago, its possible the worst excuse for a golf course in Co.Down

having said that the folk there were friendly.

Phil
