Yip. We have the final round of our year long "League of Gentlemen" tomorrow. Not hit a ball in 3 weeks and the forecast is snow! What can you do? Cry?

It's almost April we are beset by gales and blizzards, petrol at £1.10/litre, heating oil at 46p/litre, thick as pigshit celebrities and footballers admired, whole young population intent on getting wasted and fighting all weekend cos they've nothing else to do, £250000 for a 2 bedroom hovel - all we wanted was a game of golf -is that too much to ask after slaving away for a week earning sweet f+*k all! It appears so..... Great bloody Britain....fume!

You just can't beat that Friday feeling!

Played 7 holes today it was wild!

Had 150 left to the 17th, downhill into the wind, I came up short with a 4 iron. It certainly blew the cobwebs away but not a round to report on!

Fun after it was over!

I played 2 holes and then.....hail, not just a spit of rain....HAIL, big lumps of it....arghhh

Thought I'd "range it" instead, drove the 8 miles to discover it was closed......being a bank holiday....

Have got 5 days off and the forecast is crap for 4 of them. Managed to get 9 holes in today in gale force winds but at least I got out.

Prize for grumpiest post of the week goes to Birdieman!! :D :D :D

Go for it, Stu. Couldn't agree more. We only want a wee game on a calm day. Not too much to ask, is it?

Took a day off. Didn't fancy playing on a busy course in strong winds (not good for the already fragile swing) and couldn't summon the enthusiasm to hit balls on a cold wind into a cross wind (get no real feedback on how the balls are flying)

well said birdieman - never a truer word spoken. the only saving grace is that there is golf on telly and hopefully it will be a good final 2 days (fingers crossed), especially if scott stops hooking into the water!

no game for me, but it was a tad breezy up the range. I'm only a little fella but I felt like John Daly flying my 7 irons to the 200 yard marker.

Its not the size that counts m8...................... :D
