Great transfer window for Everton , good money for Fellaini , 2 good loan deals in Lukaku and Barry ..

I think a good buy in Mc Carthy , bit dear but as we were getting big bucks in that was always going to happen ..

How'd your team fair off ?

I am happy with Liverpools signings, saw at some point yesterday there was a small chance of getting Juan Mata! i got very excited, he is in my opinion one of the best players in the league and am amazed he has featured so little for Jose.. That would have been amazing, but overall i am happy.

Ozil is a fantastic signing. Flamini is solid, sanogo is one for the future, may be.

We are light up front. Could have done with Higuain really, and another CB.

Spare keeper is ok, but would have preffered Begovic.

Was there ever a plan though, because if there was, it wasn't in evidence.

Well I was gutted to lose McCarthy. You'll soon see that the money spent was a bargain. Great box to box player. Loads of energy and a good eye for a pass. I'm happy-ish with our signings, but I'm impressed with who Everton brought in... Could be a good season for you..

Hopefuly mate if Lukaku can continue his form from West Brom last year it would be great , we so need a 15 goal striker .. Jela is gone stone cold .. yea im a bit more optamistic for the season now ...

I think McCarthy was the best bit of business after Wanyama.
Everton did well and I think Arsenal may surprise everyone.
The E&WPL does not seem to be such a closed shop now, could be an exciting season.

Gutted we lost Ade Guedioura to Palace. Properly solid midfielder who has been excellent for Forest. Pleased the chairman didn't overspend yesterday for the players they wanted...The result was no players coming in, but we bolstered the squad with 9 players earlier in the window and they have proved their worth thus far. I suspect Billy will get a few key season-long loan signings in before that window closes, so it's all good.

Have to agree with you mate, be sad to see him go , looking for some good loan signings now mate.

We did bugger all (toon fan), I just hope its all part of a plan by ashley to sell! Can't see it happening though.

Spurs probavly did the best business, but Everton had the best final day, Lukaku is a cracking deal. Worried if I was a chelsea fan though, can't see JM changing to play more free flowing play.

Good to see the Accies get at least £1m on the sale on clause for McCarthy

My team Hearts [Boys Club] are not allowed to buy any players as they went bust.
On the bright side they have been forced to blood some very young players who look quite talented.
Average age of the team last game was 21, oldest player was 26.

Not happy, we tried the scattergun approach make loads of cheap offers and hope one gets accepted.... Oh no takers oh well we'll have fellani at about 4 mill more than he was 3 weeks ago!
Oh and vat who added that onto Spanish transfer fees!
Joke like trying to buy caviar down the market! :(

Unheard of for us to spend more than we make in a window, guess thats what comes of not being a 'selling club' anymore.
I'm happy with our business, Lovren looks awesome. Wanyama likewise, although he was garbage on Saturday. Jury's still out a bit on Osvaldo but has shown some flashes of genius so I think he will be fine once he settles in. And we didn't sell anyone decent!

I think Everton have done the best business out of the lot!

Great money for Felliani as I honestly don't believe he's worth that much having seen him on more than just the 'big game' occasions. Barry still has a lot to offer and McCarthy is a great signing for a 22(?) yr old. But Lukaku...I honestly thought Chelsea would keep him given the impact Drogba had for them and would imagine that Everton will have another good season now. Their next game, Chelsea. Just a shame Lukaku can't play.

I'd be disappointed if I were an Arsenal fan, yes 42m spent one one player but they do need some grit and I think that's why they'll be nearly men again. Watching Spurs and I actually don't think that they'll be as good as last year, lots of changes to the spine of the team and Soldado for me won't be value for money at 27m. What is wrong with Defoe! And if I were a Man Utd fan, I wouldn't be overly impressed but would still fancy my chances at a top 2 finish. Chelsea for me this year.

Back to reality and I'm a Bolton fan so I will now stop typing...

I think you guys will be one of the surprise packages of the season (ie 10th or higher).

Steady on mate, think top 10 is a bit optimistic.

Well I did say 'surprise' package. But I'm not a Saints fan so couldn't care less :). Can't spell the managers surname but he seems to have them playing some rather good, attacking football, both home and away. Give me 12th or higher then for a dozen Srixon Z stars...?

Being a Palace season ticket holder I'm pleased that you rate him highly! We signed 16 players on in the transfer window, lets hope we manage to stay up!
