They have been banned from signing players for 2 transfer windows.

It appears they induced a player to break his contract.
Surely they wouldn't do that!

It'll never stick though. They will appeal on a 'restriction of trade' or some such argument. Why Fifa (and Uefa) keep getting involved in English matters is beyond me.

Apparently Roma were banned in the same way a while back but had the punishment reduced on appeal.

I heard this on SSN as I was going out. I'd never heard of the player and assume he never joined or played for the 1st team. I agree that it'll get reduced or overturned

I agree Uefa are racist agaisnt the english how can they ignore the shameless chase of Fabregas by Barca and Reals pursuit of Ronaldo, I hear they are now looking into a Man U transfer so expect them to be next.
