So coming to work today there was a guy that was asleep along 3 seats and then his legs on the chair opposite.

The train was jammed and heaps also standing.

Is it okay to wake someone up when they are taking up heaps of seats?

I always make someone move a bag that is on a seat if I want to sit down but never come across someone sleeping before over multiple seats.

So his top half took up 3 seats, and his legs were on the opposite seats? How tall was this guy?

I could manage this on the Stansted Express. Feeling a bit soporific today so I might give it a go on the way home this afternoon - see how the super polite Friday afternoon European travellers on their way to the airport react.

Definitely...he was probably just pretending to be asleep so that no-one would dare ask...

And if he grumbles (about you waking him or whatever) you just apologize and then sit down.

Public transport is full of selfish people.

My personal pet hate on a busy train is when someone sits in an aisle seat leaving the window seat vacant next to them.
