And I was confused by that as well as I was under the impression that all immigrants were either on the dole claiming benefit or having babies courtesy of the NHS. So what are they doing on the roads at rush hour? Unless they are on the way to the maternity ward I suppose.

Helps jump the queue for a council house that..........didn't take those immigrant girls long to work that one out! Damn those pesky foreigners!

I don't remember those British owned Indian take always, were they any good at all? Can't see a lamb Rogan Josh or a Peshwari nan being better than a nice bit of bread n dripping though.
 
All these people must have where they come from on their windscreens huh Delc , what about that company that makes sandwiches for M&S not being able to get staff from the UK coz they all too lazy to work as they get plenty off the dole . too many cars on the road , same everywhere
 
I was in Manchester yesterday and today, yesterday left our house at 610 am and was at Piccadilly for 6:50 compare it to today I left ours at 645 this morning and i got to Piccadilly at 840. Almost 2 hours to do 40 miles of motorway driving, absolute nightmare thank God I don't work there everyday!

Wow thats a big difference, must have been a lot of scots travelling north huh
 
Perhaps we need extra lanes so they can all drive their left hand drive cars on the other side of the road , then the traffic will always be going the other way :D

By far the biggest contributors to rush hour traffic are school runs, havnt you noticed how much less traffic was on the road during half term,

Stopping mums driving to school will ease the problem, but to blame immigrants is just garbage.

So you are saying kill all school children and their mums!!! You are worse than King Herod, I'd of expected better from a mod.;)

Some of it is also down to the fact that London sucks in a disproportionate amount of people, as do other major cities, for employment. Plus British work places/managers are sometimes not the most enlightened when it comes to things like home working/flexible working hours. And the traditional model of having to be at your desk from 9 to 5 is still the most common. So trying to get millions of people to their desks at roughly the same time is always going to cause gridlock.

But it's mostly immigrants, or now as I've found out the children of immigrants and their mums. Oh, and speaking as a dad who drops their child off to school in a 4x4 most days I resent the casual sexism blaming mums. Dads also do that job. ;)

Utter nonsense Hacker! All they need to do is dedicate the bus lane to golfers and fine the buses for travelling in them, after all they are only taking to work the immigrants who are saving up for a car! :whistle:

Er! A lot of the immigrants who flooded into the UK during the last Labour Government, who admitted to having a policy of "iincreasing diversity to rub it into the faces of the right wingers", now have school age children who are being driven to school! No wonder the traffic is now gridlocked in term time! :rolleyes:

To suggest it's immigrants causing traffic issue is bordering on bigotry - then to defend it further when people have posted the clear reasons by saying it's immigrant mothers driving their kids to school ?!?

May I take it that you are a supporter of the Labour Party then? They have a tendency to label anyone who objects to their immigration policies as a bigot!

I'm not a supporter of any party

What I don't like seeing is people blaming every problem in this country on immigrants

Especially when it's one person who is complaining about the length of time it takes him to get to his £2000 a year golf club in the morning

Please, please, please tell me this is being done tongue in cheek. I refuse to believe that you actually believe this. I can only assume you are playing the role of a parody, intent on baiting everyone on here.

If on the small offchance you genuinely believe this to be true, then I think it's safer for you to exit the internet. Clearly you cannot be trusted to read it and make logical assumptions, therefore making it a danger for you to read it, and still go about your every day life.

On the note of the OP, I would like to moan about old duffers (in a non golfing sense) choosing the busiest time of the day to go to a social activity. I've got to get to work on time, therefore I need to be on the road at a certain time. They can choose any time of day they like, why on earth would they add to the congestion and make it harder for working age people to get to work? It's both selfish and illogical.

Tell you what Del, I always thought that you spouted utter garbage about golf matters, but this crap really does amaze me!
 
Lodon very busy and there are a lot of people, the roads are narrow and the public transport has been full to bursting point for a long time....
