They are good fro allignment and swing plane but as Chris says long bamboo canes do the same job - as do all those driver shafts that snapped at the hosel....

The most terrible item currently available on the market.

No objection to them, themselves, just to a certain clique of players at mine who think that by having them in their bags on a Sunday somehow makes them superior to everybody else.

Do us V-easy users carry them in our bag to prove how much we practise?

Its a no contest Crawford. Ones a load of rubbish that can be made with everyday objects and the other is the V-Easy, which IMO is the mutts............

Tour sticks are for those 'with all the gear and no idea'......

Two old shafts will do the job just as well. I have two of the sticks but I got them in the states a few years ago from Home Depot and at the time they cost me about £1.50 for the two. I wouldn't pay £10 or £13 for them. As I said old shafts or bamboo sticks as mentioned above will do fine.

I have them and use them as markers at 50 yards and 80 yards for pitching to more than I do for alignment.

I use them on the practise ground for alignment as I really struggle for the first few balls, also use them as a gate to pitch through and as targets.

Wouldn't take them on the course though, no need at all for that.

I tend to agree. The problem I have when I go to the practice ground is that I take a few divots (well a line as I put each ball in the back of the last divot) and eventually have to move and I can't be arsed to keep lining the stick up. They are good for checking things like plane or to stop hip slide but as an alignment tool the V-Easy does equally as well and I can use it later in the session to work on chipping and putting

There's me thinking that tour sticks were used for more than just alignment and swing plane...

No other use whatsoever, not to mention you can use bamboo sticks instead of spending a tenner!
