wot ever i try i can't stop topping my 5 wood,its an old thing with a deep face about 15 yrs old,would a new on like a g20 with a shallow face help or as i imagine a swing fault ?

A new 5 wood is unlikely to help unless the swing fault is caused by a mental issue. I wouldn't worry too much about the deep face, any 5 wood is designed to be hit off the deck. Get the swing issue resolved before splashing the cash.

Swing fault. If its not happening with any of your other clubs I expect it lies in the set up. But dont take my word for it I'm a 21 HC
